This course provides best practices for sanitation before, during and after a facial service, proper skin analysis, client consultation and skin conditions and disorders. You will learn the common ingredients used in skin treatments today in addition to some natural ingredients and skin care treatments you can make or direct your clients to make from ingredients in their own fridge. Several demonstrations will walk you through the different types of facials and when to use them, tools needed, how to select products, best practices and techniques. A thorough breakdown of the facial massage and facial exercises that can be done in the comfort of the clients home will be demonstrated and how to educate your clients on post care treatments/regimes to help them achieve their skin goals.

Understanding ingredients is key to creating the perfect facial treatment for your clients and what products will work best for them at home. Creating your own skin care products and treatments from ingredients you can find in your fridge or garden is great education to provide to your client and a nice add on custom facial service or workshop to add to your spa’s service menu.
